The Dolwen Field is owned by the Llanwrtyd Town Council and managed by the Dolwen Field Volunteer Committee. The park has many facilities, including a sports pavilion, which can be hired; a perimeter track for walking, cycling, and running; a rugby field; outdoor table tennis, archery and boules; a sensory garden; a children’s playpark; a wildflower meadow; and a food grow-and-share area.
